Material on the Final Exam (Revised Dec. 6)
The final exam will cover Chapters 1 (voting), 4 (apportionment), 5 (Euler circuits), 8 (scheduling), and 11 (symmetry). IT WILL NOT COVER CHAPTER 12 (FRACTALS).
Study guides for the first four of these chapters are already available:
In addition, you should use the tests already given to review:
- Chapter 1: see Test 1 questions 1, 2, 3.

- Chapter 5: see Test 3 question 1, 2, 3.
- Chapter 8: see Test 4 questions 4, 5, 6.
Here is a study guide for Chapters 11:
Chapter 11

Recognize the symmetries (translation, reflection, rotation, glide reflection) of an object.
Name the symmetry type for (1) finite shapes (such as hubcaps), (2) border patterns and (3) wallpaper patterns.
Personal Help Sheets
You may bring to the test one sheet of paper for each chapter containing whatever you find helpful. In addition, you may bring our flow chart for the wallpaper patterns.
