Chapter 1
Find the winner of an election using (1) plurality method, (2) Borda count, (3) plurality with elimination, (4) method of pairwise comparison.
Answer questions such as: Does this example violate the majority criterion? The Condorcet criterion? The independence-of-irrelevant-alternatives criterion? Be able to explain your answers.
Answer questions such as: Explain why the method of pairwise comparisons always satisfies the majority criterion.
Chapter 2
Find the number of coalitions.
Identify dictators, players with veto power, dummies.
Find the Banzhaf power distribution of a weighted voting system.
